Heating Oil Alert: The short Funds have made a new all-time record high of 43003 contracts. Knocking out the previous record that has stood since 01-03-2007. Many times this is leading indicator that these funds have established to large of position at or near the lows. The fund longs on the other hand, have made 7 week lows. Commercial longs have taken those shorts trades and have added 13329 long positions and are on a 7 week high. Commercials Longs made a all-time high of 219896 contracts on 06-15-2010. (The COT numbers are based as of Tuesday close.) It's been week; look at the charts to see the results. It's so very important to follow the flow the money and where it's coming from.
